AI Drive is where Addness keeps a team's Goal resources, meeting notes, screen recordings and uploads in one place. Search by name, type or Goal — or ask an AI agent connected through MCP, which searches only what you can see and reads text files to answer.

- Browse Goal resources, meeting notes, screen recordings and direct uploads through dedicated views for each type.
- Switch between My Drive for items you added, Shared Drive for items you can access, and Trash.
- Resources linked to a Goal display a Goal chip. Select it to open the related Goal.

Search
Search by name, then filter by type, tag or Goal
- Use “Search names” to find items in the current location by part of their name.
- Filter by type (folders, uploads, links, meeting notes, screen recordings), favorites, owner or tag. Open a Goal under Shared Drive to see only the items linked to it.
- AI agents connected through MCP search the items you can view by name, tag, folder or Goal, and read the full text of text files to answer.

Permissions and organization
Give Goal viewers access to the related materials
- Goal resources inherit the Goal's permissions. Anyone who can view the Goal can view its resources.
- Share direct uploads with individual members or the whole organization, with viewer or editor access.
- Move, rename, delete or restore items. Bulk actions support up to 100 items at a time.

You never set the sharing per file - the Goal's permissions already apply
What is AI Drive?
AI Drive collects the materials your organization creates while working on Goals: Goal resources, meeting notes, screen recordings and files you upload directly.
Switch between My Drive for items you added, Shared Drive for items you can access, and Trash, where you can restore deleted files.
Goal resources inherit the Goal's permissions, so anyone who can view a Goal can view its resources. Share direct uploads with individual members or the whole organization, with viewer or editor access.
How AI search works in AI Drive
Use “Search names” to find items in the current location by part of their name, then filter by type, favorites, owner or tag.
When a keyword search is not enough, ask an AI agent connected through MCP. It searches the items you can view by name, tag, folder or Goal, and reads the full text of text files to answer.
An agent can only read what the person who asked can read. When you hand over a Goal with Ask AI, the files, meeting notes and recordings attached to it become the material the agent reads.
Storage and plans
Your plan determines the storage available to the whole organization. The pricing page compares AI Drive storage for each plan.
Upload files up to 50MB each, with up to 100 files per upload. Bulk actions support up to 100 items at a time.

Everything you keep in AI Drive
starts with Ask AI.
Files, meeting notes and recordings attached to a Goal become the material an agent reads when you start it with Ask AI. You never have to find them and paste them in. An agent can only read what the person who asked can read.
