Choose a screen, window, tab or camera and start recording
- Record your entire screen, a window, the current tab or only your camera. When the camera is on, your face appears in a small circular overlay.
- Annotate the screen with a pen, rectangles or stamps while recording. Pause and resume when needed.
- Use picture-in-picture controls when switching between tabs or apps during a recording.

Read the transcript or ask an AI agent about the recording
- Stop recording to save automatically and open the recording's detail page.
- Link the recording to a Goal. Members who can view the Goal can watch the recording without a sharing link.
- When transcription is enabled, the transcript appears on the right side of the detail page.

Screen recording runs in a browser over HTTPS and is not available in Safari on iOS. You can watch recordings on a phone.
Transcription is a paid feature. Focus includes transcripts for its recording allowance, and Unlimited includes unlimited transcription. Transcription is skipped for recordings without audio or with the microphone turned off.
A message explains that you have reached the monthly limit and shows an option to upgrade. After upgrading, previously archived recordings are immediately available to play again.
