Addness is used across many industries
Hurdles to an organization-wide rollout
Three hurdles when rolling AI out across the organization.
Three situations we hear about most, and how Addness resolves each one.
Problem
AI use stays with individuals
Some people use AI well. But their conversations and the work they produce stay in their own chat window, invisible to the rest of the team.
How Addness solves it
AI work is kept on the goal as progress, comments, and deliverables
Work is organized by goal, and anything an AI does is recorded on that goal as progress, comments, and deliverables. A post in a goal's chat is the same thing as a comment on that goal, so everyone on the team can see who moved what forward with AI, in one place.

Mark as resolved
This exchange stays on the Goal "Win the proposal at Acme Inc." as a comment
Keep the small requests in the Goal conversation. Mark it resolved when it is done - the conversation becomes the Goal's context
Every session starts by explaining the business and its rules again. The explanation changes with the person, and so do the AI's answers.
How Addness solves it
The Ideal and Memo written on each goal become the AI's context
Each goal holds an Ideal and a Memo, and that text is the AI's context as written. Connect Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor over MCP and every AI reaches the same goal tree, so nobody has to explain the basics from scratch again.

You have 3 to-dos today. Shall I work through them in order?
One line to Claude Code or Codex. No API key required
The first week goes well. Then the tool never becomes part of the daily order of work, and fewer people keep using it.
How Addness solves it
Pick what to work on now, and recurring work is added by routines
Give the lowest goals an owner and a due date, then pick the ones to work on now. A goal tree that went well can be saved as a template, and recurring work set up as a routine is added on schedule and assigned to its owner. Meetings are captured by the Meet and Zoom meeting notes bot, which saves the transcript to the goal.

Pick a template, choose where it goes and how often, and you are set.

On the Goals page, open "Set up Addness" and choose "Ask AI" on the first row, "Connect your AI to Addness". Work with the AI through connecting, organizing your work, and deciding ToDo now.

Assign responsibilities and invite members
Set the owners and permissions for your work goals, then share an invite link. Each member connects their own AI through "Set up Addness" and starts on their responsibilities.

If you were invited, join through that link. You do not need to create a separate organization. Complete the initial setup on a computer.
Together we decide how to lay out the company goal tree and how to split permissions for who can see what, matched to your current organization and how work flows today.
Bringing members on board
From joining through an invitation to connecting their own AI and starting their work, we help identify where members are stuck and work through it together.
Once you are up and running
We advise on day-to-day operation: how to run today's tasks, how to build templates and routines, and how to connect your AI agents, all matched to where your company is.
Decide who sees what. The AI works within the same limits.
The information your company needs for approval is on our security page. Architecture diagrams and answers to security questionnaires are shared individually under a non-disclosure agreement.

Permissions per organization and per goal
Set who can see which goals at the organization level and the goal level. Members of other organizations can be given access to specific goals only. Administrators issue and revoke invitation links.
The AI sees only what the person can see
Anything an AI does is limited to the permissions of the person operating it. The AI never sees data that person cannot see.
Your data is not used for AI training
AI features send only the information needed for that request to an external AI service. We use only AI services whose contract terms exclude API inputs from model training.
Encryption and data location
Traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or later, and databases, files, and backups are encrypted at rest (AWS KMS). Data is stored in the AWS Tokyo region, so its location is Japan.
Sign-in and activity records
Sign in with a one-time email code, Google, or Apple, with two-factor authentication (authenticator app). Goal changes, comments, and member actions are kept in the activity log. SAML SSO and SCIM are not supported at this time.
One seat is one human member. AI agents connected over MCP do not count as seats. Annual billing gives you two months free, and you can change plans or cancel anytime.

For getting started on your own. Connect your own AI (Claude Code, Codex) through MCP. No in-app AI.
Prices shown are for monthly billing. Try Pro or higher with the free trial. Starter has no trial; you can start directly for $4.99 per person per month. Ask us if you would like to pay by invoice.
Check ToDo now and All ToDos on the Goals page. If you have used Addness for a while or removed the setup goal, add it from the public template linked in the help article on setup. If you stopped partway through, return to the same AI conversation to continue.
How many people do we need to start?
You can start with one seat. Billing is based on the number of human members in your organization, and AI agents connected over MCP never count as seats, however many you connect. When a member joins through an invite link, the remaining days until your next renewal are billed pro rata right away, and removed seats take effect at your next renewal.
What kind of computer do I need? Can I use it with just a smartphone?
You need a computer (to run the AI app). For Claude Code, that means macOS 13 or later on a Mac, or 64-bit Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) or Windows 11. For Codex (the ChatGPT app), that means macOS 14 or later on a Mac, or 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11. It runs with as little as 4 GB of memory, but we recommend 16 GB or more. You cannot use it with a smartphone alone, but you can send requests from the Addness app on your phone to the AI on your computer (the desktop app needs to be open on your computer). On Linux, you can use Addness in the browser and connect over MCP (there is no desktop app).
Which languages does the interface support? Can members overseas use it?
The app interface is available in 17 languages: Japanese and English, plus Vietnamese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French, German, Italian, Indonesian, Thai, Hindi, Mongolian, Malay, and Filipino. Each member chooses their own language in My Settings › Display & language, so Japanese-speaking and English-speaking members can work in the same organization.
Can we keep using our current chat and document tools alongside it?
Yes. Addness holds your goals, their progress, and the context around them, so you do not need to replace other tools. Slack and Google Calendar integrations are available on Focus and above: Addness notifications are posted to Slack, and Google Calendar events appear in today's tasks. Integrations only run when you enable them yourself, and you can disconnect them at any time.
Who can see what?
Permissions are set per organization and per goal. Anyone who can see a goal can also see the files and screen recordings attached to it. Members of other organizations can be limited to specific goals, and an AI sees exactly what the person operating it can see.
Can we move goals someone used personally into the company organization?
We will walk you through how to move them once we understand your current setup and how your organization is structured. Ask us during the consultation.
Is there a cost if you help us?
If we work inside your organization on the design or day-to-day operation, the scope and cost depend on the size of your company and how you want to proceed, so we go over it during the consultation. You can apply for free onboarding support, where we work with you until one of your workflows can be handed to AI, through the consultation form.
What does the free onboarding support include?
We work with you until one of your workflows can be handed to AI. Along the way, you can also see how we actually use Addness ourselves. We run it once to start. After that, we decide whether to keep supporting you and let you know. Apply through the consultation form.
Can we try it before signing a contract?
Pro or higher includes a 7-day free trial with monthly billing. Starter has no trial; you can start directly for $4.99 per person per month. After creating an account, choose Pro or higher and register a credit card to start the trial, and use the features of the plan you chose while it runs. The trial ends exactly 7 days after you sign up, at the same time of day, and your first charge happens then. Cancel before that time and you pay nothing. There is no trial if your organization has subscribed before, if you have already subscribed or started a trial for another organization with the same email address, or if you choose yearly billing. Ask us if you would like to pay by invoice.
