Use templates
Add the workflow and ask an AI agent to carry out the tasks
- Add a template to the Goal hierarchy and choose a parent Goal to copy the full contents.
- Ask an AI agent to work through the ToDos added from the template in order. The AI does the work, and a person reviews what it produces and makes the decisions that need a person.
- Owners, permissions, due dates and completion states are not copied. The hierarchy, Ideal, Memo, comments and resources are copied.

Schedule routines
Add recurring work automatically on the days it is due
- Choose a template, destination parent Goal, schedule and owner for each routine.
- Run a routine daily, weekly on selected weekdays, or monthly on selected dates, including the last day of the month.
- On the scheduled date, the template is added automatically and assigned to the selected owner. Its due date is the day it is added.

Frequently asked questions
A template copies the hierarchy and each Goal's title, Ideal, Memo including images, comments including attachments, and resources. Review the source Goal before saving if you do not want its conversations or files included.
Owners, permissions, due dates and completion states are not copied. Goals added automatically by a routine use the routine's selected owner and are due on the day they are added.
Archive it first; archived templates can be restored at any time. Deletion cannot be undone and also deletes routines linked to the template.
Knowledge is where your company keeps the ways of doing things (procedures) it reuses. Addness instructs AI agents to look for Knowledge when they start a piece of work, and to write down any approach worth keeping when they finish. A template is a reusable outline of a Goal hierarchy. Keep the sequence of how the work proceeds in a template, and the contents of each individual procedure in Knowledge.
